Vote NO on I-985
I-985 is another move by Tim Eyman to threaten our quality of life here in Washington state. The initiative would increase congestion by opening HOV lanes to all motorists during rush hour, bringing buses and vanpools to a standstill. Furthermore, the initiative prohibits money raised through tolls to be used for public safety, bicycle paths, light rail, buses, park and rides or even ferries. I-985 will drastically reduce transportation choices in the area, increase congestion and contribute significantly to global warming.

Initiative 985 does not benefit any part of our state - urban, suburban or rural - and it doesn't encourage the development of livable, walkable communities, or help cut down on bumper to bumper traffic. This is the wrong direction for Washington as we work to tackle global warming and improve transportation choices. Find out more at www.no985.org.
