Kitsap Conservation Voters

Kitsap Conservation Voters, a chapter of Washington Conservation Voters

Kitsap Conservation Voters is a local chapter of Washington Conservation Voters.

Kitsap Conservation Voters is the only grassroots organization in Kitsap County that holds elected officials accountable to our air, land and water.  We work to protect our county, so that we maintain the places that make Kitsap so special.

Kitsap Conservation Voters has a history of success advocating and working to elect environmentally responsible candidates.  Most recently, in 2007 both KCV-endorsed Poulsbo City Council candidates were elected:

•    Linda Berry-Maraist

•    Becky Erickson

Monthly Meetings

Kitsap Conservation Voters Board of Directors meets at 6pm every third Thursday of the month.  Look for each month’s meeting location in the Happening Now section.

Get Involved

Join Kitsap Conservation Voters and make a difference in your community.  Help us endorse candidates, elect candidates and advance local environmental solutions.  All of us can be environmental champions.

It takes each of us working together to elect environmental champions at the state and local level of our governments.  More than any other office, it's these positions that truly impact our quality of life.

Vivian Young “The environment is one of the factors I consider when voting because I cannot imagine leaving the next generation with a planet in peril and I want to see people in office who consider the environment a priority.” - Vivian Yeung
