King County Conservation Voters, a chapter of Washington Conservation Voters

King County Conservation Voters is a local chapter of Washington Conservation Voters.

We are a grassroots organization powered by individuals who know environmental leaders are important for environmental progress.

By working on a grassroots level to mobilize and educate voters, we can elect true environmental champions. KCCV will play a critical role in determining who represents us and how committed they are to protecting our quality of life.

King County Conservation Voters has a history of environmental success. Most recently, in 2007, we celebrated three wins in Kirkland and Seattle.

  • We worked to make the Port of Seattle greener by helping Gael Tarleton elected to the Port of Seattle

  • With the help of our endorsement, Tim Burgess won a seat on Seattle City Council.
  • Jessica Greenway won a seat on the Kirkland City Council.
